Neurodivergent STEAM — Moon Phases

Join us as we explore exciting Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) topics geared toward children with IDD (intellectual and development disabilities), 0presented in partnership with NMSU Autism Diagnostic Center. Nourish your child's curiosity through hands-on activities that are meant to increase your child's involvement in the sciences. Adult caregiver participation is a must! Ages 6-10.

Teen Takeover: Paper Mache

Bring your teens to hang out at the Museum of Nature and Science and Museum of Art for our monthly Teen Takeover program. Explore the exhibits, make cool experiments with S.T.E.A.M. activities, eat snacks, and socialize during these extended hours just for teens. Ages: 13-17.

Explore the 3.5-billion-year odyssey of life with a geologist and real fossil specimens. Visit the station in the gallery and discover something new in the fossil record each month. All ages are welcome.

LCMS Summer Camp: Science & Art: Superheroes

Enjoy fun and educational activities at the museums. Two different themes to choose from. Space is limited. Campers are expected to bring a packed lunch. Registration is required. Ages: 10-13. The camp days are June 18, 20, and 21.
