¡Amigues! There’s power in seeing yourself in the books you read. Latiné book clubs offer a supportive space to celebrate literature together. All are invited to read about and discuss the social dynamics of our lived experience across Latiné origin or decent.
The Banned Books Club meets the last Thursday of the month from 12:00 to 1:00. The discussion centers around a specific banned book each month. The selection for the month of January is Wicked by Gregory MacGuire. “Are people born wicked?” Glinda, the Good Witch of Oz, asks.
A new Theater program for children ages 8 to 14, and interested caregivers. We'll practice reading short plays aloud right from our chairs. With no sets, props or costumes, we'll use our voices, facial expressions and imaginations to tell a story, and perform our plays for friends and family.

Shared reading group and Book of the Month Club at Sage Cafe Library. Optional reading out loud, bring an article that interests you or a book you have enjoyed. Group meets every Monday for shared reading with the last Monday of the month reserved to chat about the book of the month.
