Transit Advisory Board

The purpose of the TAB is to review the operations of the Transit program and make recommendations to the Transit Administrator for system improvements; serve as a resource group on Transit issues; and encourage support and use of the Transit system among their representative groups.

Member Information

The Transit Advisory Board (TAB) members are appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. Board members represent categories of transit users rather than representatives from individual Council Districts. These categories are:

  • Business Community Representative
  • DACC Representative
  • Disabled Community Representative
  • New Mexico State University (NMSU) Representative
  • Senior Citizen Representative
  • Two General Citizen Representatives
