Goal
The goal of the Street Management section is to enhance and protect the quality of the roadways to make roads safer for pedestrians, bicyclists, and residents living in Las Cruces. This can be accomplished with resident participation.
Routine Maintenance
Routine maintenance roadways and alleys by:
- Extending life of roadways by completing preventative maintenance
- Grading roads/alleys
- Pothole patching
- Utility patch repairs
Reporting a Pothole
To report a pothole, go to the Enterprise Service Requests Portal.
Street Sweeping & Buckled Sidewalk Program
All City roadways are scheduled to be swept on a regular basis.
The City’s damaged sidewalk program addresses sidewalk repairs. Contact our main office at 575-541-2595 to report or request road debris or buckled sidewalks.
Weed & Flood
Street Management maintains roadways and drainage infrastructure free of weeds to improve the City’s quality of life. Maintenance of storm drain infrastructure and ponding areas are completed on a regular basis. To request debris or weed removal, go to our Enterprise Service Requests Portal.
