Have you heard of mahjong, but never played? Are you a mahjong shark? Either way, or somewhere in the middle, join us on Friday afternoons .
Group ukulele lessons in the Roadrunner Room. 7 donated ukuleles have been provided by Las Cruces Ukes for patrons to borrow, but juniors with ukuleles are welcome to join. Registration is required to use a ukulele. Chord books and song books will be provided. For ages 7 to 18 with caregivers for younger children.
Help us celebrate the opening of the new Washi Transformed: New Expressions in Japanese Paper exhibit. There will be an exhibit opening reception featuring a drumming performance by Torii Taiko, that uses traditional Japanese drums and other Japanese instruments. All ages are welcome.
Join PFLAG Las Cruces, La Vida Project, and the Las Cruces Public Libraries at the Rio Grande Theatre for a film screening of Matt Shepard Is A Friend of Mine (2014). Doors will open at 5 PM, and film starts at 6 PM.
