Free dance lessons and an opportunity to show off your new moves at Plaza de Las Cruces. The monthly event, presented by Visit Las Cruces, provides visitors and locals alike the opportunity to learn regional and culturally-inspired dance styles like salsa, cumbia, and many other genres popular within our community.
Sol Ballroom will lead the night with lessons from highly-skilled instructors trained in all styles of dance. No matter the size of the group, their team will ensure everyone has a great time learning new dance techniques.
There will be more than a dozen of the Thursday evening events between April and November. Exact dates and times can be found on the Visit Las Cruces calendar of events. Lessons are free of charge. No experience or partner needed.
There will be food available for purchase at the plaza from local food trucks and several of the nearby local downtown restaurants and breweries. Come out, dance and enjoy the music in downtown Las Cruces!
