SUMMARY:Historic Preservation Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The City of Las Cruces Historic Preservation Committee will hold its monthly meeting beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday\, May 20\, 2026. \n\n\n\nThe meeting is open to members of the public and will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall\, 700 N. Main Street. \n\n\n\nNominations for the City of Las Cruces Register of Cultural Properties will be discussed. The 2026 nominations are for the Rio Grande Theatre\, Branigan Cultural Center\, Railroad Museum\, Clara Belle Williams Property\, and Phillips Chapel. \n\n\n\nAttendees will also learn about historic preservation activities around the community for Historic Preservation Month. \n\n\n\nFor more information or to read the 2026 nominations to the City Register of Cultural Properties\, please find the meeting agenda published in the City’s Agenda Center or contact Caitlin Beesley at cbeesley@lascruces.gov or at (575)528-3027.
