The Parks and Recreation Department’s Teen Connection summer program will accept registration applications from Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 23, 2025, or until capacity is reached. Limited spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The program is free and open to youth entering grades 6 through 12 for the 2024–25 school year. Teen Connection will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, through Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.,

Note: There will be no programming on Wednesday, June 19, or Friday, July 4. Online registration is available under the “Out-of-School Time” section listed here.

In-person registration is available at the following times and locations:

  • Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at A. Fielder Memorial Safe Haven, 906 N. Tornillo St.
    · Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 p.m., at Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.
    · Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.
