Pursuant to the Las Cruces Police Department’s goal of providing its citizens with access to public records in a timely manner, the Las Cruces Police Department Records Division (“Records Division”) provides public access to certain commonly requested records. Neither the Las Cruces Police Department nor the Records Division are the designated records custodian for the City of Las Cruces. As such, should you wish to make a formal Inspection of Public Records Act (“IPRA”) request, please contact the City Clerks’ Office located at 700 N.
