Las Cruces and Doña Ana County residents are invited to participate in the National Community Survey. The National Community Survey™ is an online instrument that was developed in partnership with the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) in 2001 to provide cities and counties with a scientific survey of resident opinions and an important benchmarking tool that allows for comparison among communities.
The survey enables residents to provide direct input into the local government decision-making process. By using Polco, the City of Las Cruces is making public participation easier for residents.
The survey includes 33 questions for residents to provide answers and comments on the questions asked. The survey is anticipated to take less than 20 minutes to complete. The online survey will be available April 24, 2025, until Thursday, May 8, 2025.
The survey can be accessed at polco.us/LasCrucesNM25 for those who prefer the English version and polco.us/LasCrucesNM25sp for those who prefer the Spanish version. There is no cost to take the survey.
Once residents have answered the survey questions, they will be asked to provide their ZIP code to confirm where they live. This allows the City to be sure they are hearing from each person only once and to see which general area of the city respondents live.
Survey responses will remain anonymous. Residents can choose to provide an email address to Polco, which will allow the City to easily contact them if there are future questions.
