Las Cruces Public Libraries is offering a seven-week class of Conversational English, intermediate level, for Spanish speakers that begins Monday, May 12, 2025.
The seven-week course, taught by instructor Carlos Goebels, will be held from 6-7:15 p.m. Monday, May 12, and will be held every Monday, besides Memorial Day, through June 30, 2025, in the Roadrunner Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave.
Registration is recommended to attend these classes. Registration can be done by calling (575) 528-4005.
The course helps Spanish speakers feel more comfortable speaking English. Students will participate in group discussions about social and work-related topics and give short presentations. This course will improve pronunciation, vocabulary and listening skills in English.
